E.ON Energie has completed the 0.2 MWp (221.76 kWp) solar photovoltaic project mounted on the roof of Wetterbest hall in Băicoi, Prahova County.
The EUR245,000 (US$294,898) project consists of 792 PV panels installed on an area of 1,200 square meters on the roof of the Wetterbest hall. It is expected to generate 269.78 MWh annually and offset 77 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
Wetterbest is a local roof systems manufacturer, which is part of Ireland-based Kingspan Group.
