E.ON has completed the agreement to buy a 49% share of Eco2Solar, a UK market leader in residential solar energy for property developers and new-build housing.
Founded in 2007, Eco2Solar works with many of the large home builders across the UK and has installed solar panels on thousands of new homes, allowing developers to meet planning and building regulations and build homes fit for the future, as well as saving money and reducing carbon emissions for clients and homebuyers.
Eco2Solar has installed solar energy systems in more than 20,000 buildings across the UK including schools, hospitals, medical centers, universities, and distribution centers. It also installs battery storage and electric vehicle chargers for developers, social housing, and commercial buildings.
