Engineering studies completed for 250 MW hydropower project in Dubai

The EDF's engineering studies of the 250 MW Hatta hydroelectric power project located in Hatta, Dubai, have been completed. The AED58 million (USD 15.8m) contract includes carrying out the design, hydro-geological, geological, environmental, geotechnical and deep excavation studies, and to provide other consultancy services.

A tender was expected to be issued in June 2018 for the construction of the energy storage facility, but an official announcement has not been made yet.
