Energy Kitchen to build 17 MW wind farm in Bio-Bio

Energy Kitchen GmbH, through its unit Windkraft cuatro Chile SpA, is set to build a 17 MW wind farm in the Bio-Bio regio of Chile. 

The company has submitted an environmental impact declaration (DIA) to the Chilean environmental evaluation service (SEA) for the development of 16.8-MW LASUR 1 onshore wind project.

The project would consists of three 5.6-MW wind turbines that will be installed in the region’s Los Angeles commune. The wind farm will cost about US$17 million.
