ENERCON has signed a contract with Trungnam group to supply around 400 MW capacity of turbines for the Ea Nam wind farm in Dak Lak province, Vietnam.
The construction of the project is expected to start later this year and completed within 2021.
The E-160 EP5 E2 features a 5.5 MW direct-drive permanent magnet generator capable of producing more than 21,500 MWh at sites with an average wind speed of 7.5m/s. The order also includes a number of ENERCON’s 4MW class E-138 EP3 E2.
