Enercon has been commissioned to supply turbines for the Mui Dinh and Trung Nam wind farms, located in Vietnam. The combined capacity of the project is 77 MW.

Enercon will provide 16 E-103 EP2 wind turbines to Mui Dinh, and 17 of the same model to Trung Nam. The wind energy converters will be installed on tubular steel towers at a hub height of 85m.

This deal signifies Enercon's entry into the Vietnamese market. The company is expanding its presence in the country further, registering an office for the newly established Enercon Vietnam Company Ltd. subsidiary in Ho Chin Min City and setting up a service station in the province of Ninh Thuan.

Enercon is also in discussions with the owners of Mui Dinh and Trung Nam to supply the next phases of the projects. This would involve installing a total capacity of 152 MW.
