Enel has completed the acquisition of an additional 5.5% stakes in Brazilian power distributor Eletropaulo. The company has bought 9.28 million shares from minority stockholders who had requested the sale. Enel now holds about 156.16 million shares issued by the Brazilian power distribution company or about 93.3% stakes.
In June 2018, Enel has bought a 73.4% stake in Eletropaulo for a total of BRL 5.55 billion (USD 1.44bn).
Nordex has won a contract to supply and build and erect the turbines for the wind project. Installation work will start in October 2019 and the company is to service the machines for at least two years after project completion
The 29.7 MW Central Eolica Campo Largo VII wind facility located in Bahia, Brazil, has been brought online. The scheme is part of the 326.7 MW Campo Largo Fase I complex.
