Encavis AG has acquired a portfolio of eight wind parks which are already in operation with a total capacity of 81 MW in Denmark. The advantage of this portfolio is the diversified local wind risk of the eight locations.

High-quality turbines of Vestas and Siemens Gamesa provide a technical availability above 99%. The OEMs service them with industry-standard long-term maintenance contracts with terms of 3 to 15 years. Annual power production of around 214,000 megawatt-hours corresponds to the energy consumption of more than 50,000 households.

The enterprise value of the Danish wind park portfolio amounts to around EUR108 million (US$120 million) with an equity share of just under EUR52 million (US$57 million) of Energi Danmark A/S.
