Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM), a subsidiary of the SDAX-listed Hamburg-based solar and wind farm operator Encavis AG , based in Neubiberg near Munich, established continues to be a sought-after asset management partner for institutional investors.
The Versicherungskammer Group has significantly increased its commitment in its special fund managed by HANSAINVEST LUX with EUR150 million (US$182.6 million). The fund, with a target volume in the mid three-digit million range, is currently invested in a balanced portfolio of wind and solar parks in Germany, France, Austria, and Finland.
The recently completed acquisition of the Dutch solar park "Vlagtwedde" now adds another 110 MWp to the portfolio. The park is located in the province of Groningen, in the municipality of Westerwolde, which borders on the German state of Lower Saxony. The solar park includes areas for blueberry and flower planting to support biodiversity. The south side of the solar park was put into operation at the end of June 2020, the north side followed at the beginning of December 2020.
