Eelpower has acquired the 20 MW Rock Farm battery storage plant project located in West Midlands of England. The project is operational and is connected to the grid.
Eelpower has multiple long-term Firm Frequency Response (FFR) contracts awarded by the National Grid. It plans to complete 1 GW of storage capacity between now and 2022 for an estimated cost of GBP 500 million (US$658 million).
