EDP Renewables has been awarded a 25 MW for its Nyirseg solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Hungary.
The company has secured a Contract-for-Difference (CfD) for the project, which means that the PV plant will benefit from a CfD valued at 15.73 HUF/MWh (42.5 EUR/MWh) for a period of 15 years.
The construction of the project is planned to start during 2022, with commercial operation expected in Q4 2023. The company entered the Hungarian market last February, and with this PV plant, it has reached now 75 MW in the country.
