EDF Renewables Inc has applied for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction of 350 MW Ridge View Solar Energy Centre with 100 MW/400 MWh battery storage system in Niagara County, New york.
The Ridge View Solar Energy Centre will consist of solar panels that generate enough electricity to supply for 80,000 homes and expected to start the commercial operations in 2024.
The project will be located in the towns of Hartland and Newfane.
