The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved the US$37 million loan to Alenka Enerji Uretim ve Yatirim for the development of the 72 MW extension project of the Kiyikoy wind farm.
The loan is co-financed by ICBC Turkey for a US$37 million that will be used to refinance a leasing facility for the original wind farm. The extension project will be located in the existing 28 MW facility in the Kirklareli province on the west coast of the Black Sea in Turkey.
Alenka Enerji Uretim ve Yatirim is a setup company of Borusan EnBW Enerji, a joint venture of German utility Energie Baden-Wurttemberg and the Turkish conglomerate Borusan Holding.
