Desiba Energy to build 20 MW Mouila solar PV project in Doubou

The Gabonese State has signed a contract with the Turkish company Desiba Energy for the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 20 MW.

Part of the produced energy will be bought by the Gabon Energy and Water Company (SEEG). In this context, a contract to buy 15 MW of this energy was signed in February 2021 between SEEG and the Turkish company.

Estimated at EUR27 million (US$31.7 million), the Mouila solar project is set to be completed in 12 months.
