The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has opened the technology-neutral tender of aid for electricity generated by onshore wind turbines, open door offshore wind turbines, wave power plants, hydroelectric power plants, and solar photovoltaic installations.
The single technology-neutral tender will be held in 2021 combining the allocated funds for 2020 and 2021. The technology-neutral tender in 2021 will have an overall cap of DKK1.2 billion (US$161.37 million) on aid payments from the state to the winning tenderer(s) and a capacity limit of approx. 428 MW (onshore wind equivalent).
The call for bids in the forthcoming technology-neutral tender was announced on August 23, 2021, with a deadline for bids on October 22, 2021. The tender information can be accessed on our business opportunity page here.
