ConnectGEN-EDP Joint Venture invests in First Solar's 278 MW solar portfolio

ConnectGEN has partnered with EDP Renewables North America in a 50/50 joint venture to acquire a 278 MW solar portfolio from First Solar, Inc.

The 278 MW portfolio consists of three plants located in Arizona, California and Nevada, each of which is fully contracted under long-term power purchase agreements and expected to achieve commercial operations in the next few months.
