Downing LLP has acquired an interest in the 100 MW Rewind Vanern lake wind project in Sweden from its developer, Cloudberry Clean Energy AS.
The signed deal between the two companies entitles Cloudberry a 20% stakes in the project. Cloudberry acquires the project from its previous holding company, Scanvind2 AS.
The wind farm consists of 16 wind turbines and can generate up to 350 GWh of energy per year once operational. About NOK3 million (US$329,000) will be invested in the development of the project.
