Celsia completes the 10.6 MW Cement Argos solar project in Comayagua

Celsia SA has started the commercial operation of the 10.6 MW Cement Argos solar photovoltaic project in Comayagua, Honduras. 

The solar plant consists of 32,160 solar panels located at the site of the cement manufacturer Cementos Argos. Cementos Argos and Celsia SA is part of Colombian giant Grupo Argos.

The project will provide 20% electricity demand of the Cement Plant and expected to offset about 10,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per year.
