Brazilian utility CEEE Geracao e Transmissao has opened a public call to select companies or consortia interested it acquiring an equity interest in its 52.5 MW Povo Novo Wind Complex located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The facility consists of three wind farms namely:
21 MW Ventos de Vera Cruz wind project
23.1 MW Ventos de Curupira wind project
8.4 MW Ventos de Povo Novo wind project
Interested parties should send their proposals by October 1, 2018. Energy auction of the wind farms was awarded back in 2013. Construction is currently suspended with 34.6% of the work completed.
