Ceylan Electricity Board (CEB) has launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) tender for the development of a 100 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project under the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) scheme in Siyambalanduwa, Uva Province of Sri Lanka.
The selected partner will provide project financing, design, supply, construction, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the solar PV farm as well as the 132kV transmission facility on a turnkey basis. The land identified will be leased to the successful company selected for the project period. The energy that will be generated from the plant will be sold to CEB under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA)
The deadline for the submission of tender documents is on October 21, 2022.
