Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. has announced its intention to pursue a privatization transaction in respect of Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL), pursuant to which it will offer to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of the company not already owned by Brookfield Infrastructure, at a price per IPL Share of CAD16.50 billion(US$10.6 billion).
