Bosnia issues preliminary approval for Ivovik and Orlovaca wind farms in Livno

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has given the initial consent for issuing energy permits for wind farms Ivovik and Orlovača.

The preliminary approval is issued to Ivovik for the construction of the Ivovik wind farm with 42 towers of 2 MW each, eligible for a matching, 84 MW grid connection and a planned annual electricity production of 236.6 GWh. The construction of the wind farm is envisaged in the western part of Tomislavgrad municipality and the eastern part of Livno municipality.

The equivalent approval was given for HB Wind Livno for the construction of the Orlovača wind farm. The project is for 13 turbines of 3.3 MW each with a secured 42.9 MW grid connection. the estimated power output is 99 GWh per year. The wind farm should be built on the Orlovača site, in the Livno municipality.

No financial details of the projects were disclosed.
