BMR Energy completes purchase of 5 MW Bodden Town Solar Farm in Cayman Island

BMR Energy, a part of the Virgin Group, has completed the purchase of a 5 MW Bodden Town Solar Farm from Entropy Cayman Solar I.

The project, located in Cayman Island, consists of 21,690 photovoltaic panels and has been operational since July 2017. It has an existing power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with the local utility, Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. (CUC).

All power generated by the solar farm will contribute to the grid’s peak load of about 110 MW and provide power to more than 800 homes.
