The Dhaka Electric Supply Company Ltd (DESCO) has issued an Invitation for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of an approximately 120 MW on-grid solar power system within its jurisdiction which encompasses Dhaka and its surrounding regions.
The project will utilize rooftops and other urban spaces within DESCO's operational areas for solar power generation, integrating with DESCO’s distribution network through a net-metering system. The initiative is divided into eight lots, each corresponding to one of DESCO's operational circles, with an approximate capacity of 15 MW per lot.
