AC Energy Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of Ayala Group has planned to build two solar projects with 150 MW total capacity located in Central Luzon, Philippines.
AC Energy Philippines Inc., through a 50/50 joint venture with Citicore Renewable Energy Corp, will develop a 75 MW solar plant, stretched within the municipalities of Arayat and Mexico, in Pampanga province, with an investment of PHP3.3 billion (US$67.89 million). The project is expected to operational by the last quarter of 2021,
The second 75 MW solar project will be located in Palauig town, in Zambales province, with an estimated cost of PHP2.9 billion (US$59.66 million) investment. It expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2022.
