South Korea’s Soosan ENS Co. Ltd. has emerged as a lone bidder with a bid of Php222.55 million (US$4.5 million) for the one-year service contract of the 650 megawatt Malaya Thermal Power Plant in the Philippines.
The firm’s proposal is subject to detailed bid evaluation and postqualification activities. If passed, the bid would be presented to the the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) board of directors for approval of the issuance of the notice of award.
