Arjun Infrastructure has completed the acquisition of a minority stake in Amarenco, thereby increasing the company's capital by EUR300 million (US$324 million).
Amarenco is a Franco-Irish company that specializes in photovoltaic energy and operates as an independent power producer. The company is taking another important step towards achieving its objectives; In particular, in terms of ecosystem regeneration, by initiating the first micro-forest and soil regeneration projects (to produce regenerative energy) in 2023, or by successfully implementing energy storage systems such as the flagship 100 MWh "Claudia" project.
Arjun Infrastructure joins Tikehau Capital, an alternative asset management group that has made a significant contribution to Amarenco's growth since 2020, along with a pool of investors from the Crédit Agricole Group.
