AES Chile has completed the construction of the 110 MW Los Olmos onshore wind farm in Chile, the country's first self-built wind farm.

Comprised of 23 4.8 MW wind turbines in the Chilean province of Biobio, the wind farm began commercial operations in January 2022.

The project was part of AES Andes' parent company's hybrid power purchase agreement (PPA) with Google LLC, which was signed in 2019.
