Adani plans to install 10 GW solar hybrid project in India

Adani Group has announced a Rs30,000 crore (US$422 million) investment in a 10 GW solar hybrid park in Khavda, Gujarat in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer districts, over the next five years. The solar facility is planned to be integrated with lithium battery manufacturing complex.

The 10 GW solar scheme is to be installed by 2022. The first phase would have 2 gigawatts of capacity. An auction of 500 megawatts of capacity in the first phase has been completed.

The announcement was made at the Vibrant Gujarat Investor Summit.
