ACWA Power has awarded a US$127.5 million contract to Indian EPC company Sterling & Wilson Solar to provide the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services to the 200 MW solar photovoltaic project in Kom Ombo, Egypt.
The project is awarded to ACWA Power after a tender launched in 2018 by the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) of Egypt.
Sterling & Wilson Solar aims to deliver and commission the solar farm by the first quarter of 2022.
