Bankia has signed a 'green' bilateral loan with Acciona for an amount of AUD165 million (US$118.35 million) for a term of 30 months for the development of the 157.5 MW Mortlake South wind project located in Moyne Shire, in South West Victoria, Australia.
The wind farm built by Acciona will provide clean energy to 115,000 homes and will avoid the emission of some 532,000 tons of CO2. The project involves the installation of 35 wind turbines of 4.5 MW each.
