Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has completed the acquisition of a 45.5 MW solar portfolio in Poland from local solar group R Power.

The portfolio consists of 47 solar photovoltaic assets located in western and central Poland. The solar assets are under development and eligible to Poland's Contract for Difference (CfD) incentive scheme and were awarded a 15-year guaranteed tariff.

The total combined outputs of the projects can generate up to 48 GWh of energy per year enough to offset up to 40,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.
