250 MW gas-fueled combined cycle project achieves financial close

RENCO and Siemens Power Ventures have achieved financial close on the 250 MW gas-fueled combined cycle electricity station in Yerevan, Armenia. The companies have closed US$260 million of debt. 

In November 2018, the Government of Armenia has approved the amended framework agreement with the ArmPower CJSC and RENCO S.p.A. (Italy) for the development, design, financing, construction, owning under property right, commissioning and maintenance of the power plant. The tariff in the agreed framework has been reduced after the negotiation conducted between parties.
