EDF Group and China Energy Investment Corporation (CEI) have started the construction of the 200 MW Dongtai V offshore wind project in China.
The project is the second phase of the 500 MW Jiangsu Dongtai wind farm, the first offshore wind project in China built in collaboration with a foreign investor.
The first part of the project, the 300 MW Dongtai IV, went into operation in December 2019. Dongtai V is planned to begin operating in early 2021.
