20 MW Tarlac 2 solar project to be commissioned

20 MW DC Tarlac 2 solar park in the Philippines is undergoing through the testing before being commissioned. The facility is located in Tarlac City. The plant features 61,200 Tallmax photovoltaic solar panels by Trina Solar of China and Fronius Eco's string inverters. The plant can generate 32,000 MWh annually.

TRINA Solar Energy Development Pte. Ltd. has completed the delivery of more than 60,000 solar panels.

Solenergy Systems Inc. served as the contractor while Green City Solarenergy served as the owner's engineer. The construction of the plant took 5 months.

PetroSolar is a joint venture of PetroGreen Energy Corp and EEI Power Corp.

The project is expected to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2019.
