Tender Issued for 120 MW Ground mounted and 56 MW Floating solar Project in India

NTPC Limited has issued a Tender for the Supply of a 120 MW ground-mounted and 56 MW Floating Solar PV Project at NTPC Ramagundam STPS, Telangana, India.

The project includes the detailed design of a Grid Interactive Solar PV Plant, encompassing civil, electrical, and mechanical auxiliary systems, such as foundation drawings, single line diagrams, installation plans, and electrical layouts. This involves both ground-mounted and floating solar PV installations, along with power evacuation systems, including the supply and installation of PV modules. Additionally, the scope covers 3 years of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for the solar PV plant and an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for critical equipment, as specified in the technical requirements. The scope of work for the contractor includes:

  • Design and engineering of the plant and systems, including civil works;
  • Provision and review of engineering drawings, data, process calculations, test procedures, structural design calculations, equipment layout, drawings/data sheets of bought-out items, civil structural/architectural drawings, OTGT/PG test, etc.;
  • Finalization of sub-vendors, manufacturing quality plans, and field quality plans;
  • Obtaining mandatory permissions/licenses/statutory clearances from competent authorities;
  • Topographical survey and geotechnical investigation of land/waterbody and bathymetry survey of water body;
  • Site grading and clearing of vegetation (if required), dredging works (if required), and installation of floaters, anchorings, fixings, pathways, and PV modules on floaters;
  • Arranging power and water supply for construction purposes;
  • Construction of pre-engineered type inverter room/platform (if applicable);
  • All associated electrical and civil works required for interfacing with the grid, including transformers, isolators, CTs, CBs, panels, protection systems, cables, metering at 33KV and 440kV levels, grid compliance study, etc.
  • Construction of central monitoring and control station with SCADA, PPC panel, and associated equipment; and
  • Underground cabling/overhead lines of 33KV from pooling switchgear of FSPV & GSPV project to Ramagundam STPP switchyard.
