Oman tenders Independent power project

The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (OPWP) has launched the Request for Qualificaton (RFQ) for the development of an additional new generation capacity of approximately 850-750MW to be located at Misfah, just over 30km from Muscat International Airport in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Independent Power Project is to be developed as private sector project by appropriately qualified developers.

The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (the OPWP), a member of Nama Group, is responsible for procuring new capacity for power and water and for purchasing and selling the output in the Sultanate of Oman.

Interested firms must submit the documents on or before December 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM (local hour).
