NTR and Envision bid for Velocita

NTR and Envision Energy are set to acquire Velocita, an independent European developer, owner and operator of wind and renewable energy projects. The team are among the final bidders for the acquisition.

Under the terms of the proposed deal NTR would acquire Velocita's assets in the UK, while Envision would purchase Velocita's assets in France.

Velocita's UK assets comprise an operational 12 MW wind farm and two wind farms with a total of 42 megawatts of planned output in construction phase in Scotland. The group’s UK portfolio consists of 16 wind energy projects from development-stage to operating assets, totalling 533 MW.

In France, the company has an operational 14 MW wind farm and projects in construction phase, including a three wind farms in that will generate a total of 136 megawatts. The group’s French portfolio consists of 27 projects from development-stage to operating assets, totalling 706 MW.
