Japan’s Renova completes 24.8 MW solar plant

Renova Inc, a photovoltaic infrastructure developer based in Japan, has announced that its 24.8 MW Nasushiobara solar plant in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, has been in operation since last month.

The project covers 370,000 square meters of land and is located in a 37 hectare private and communal forest in Nasushiobara City, Japan. 

The project has an expected annual solar power production of approximately 24.8 million kWh, enough to cover the annual demand of 7,200 households.

Renova now sums up more than 121 MW of solar power plants in operation through six plants spread through five prefectures. The company is currently working on a 19-MW solar plant in Kumamoto Prefecture as well.
