C-Tech Corp completes 12.8 MW solar plant in Japan

C-Tech Corp has officially completed the 12.855-MW Solar Park Shinmaiko in Aichi prefecture’s city of Chita, Japan.

C-Tech Corp was the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the project, while Mitsubishi Electric Corp has provided 48,328 PV monocrystalline silicon panels for the project. Additionally, the plant has been equipped with 9.02 MW of Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp's (TMEIC) solar inverters.

The project, located on reclaimed land at a waste disposal site in the Fifth South District of Nagoya Port, will have capacity to generate about 15GWh of electricity annually.

The Port of Nagoya, located in Ise Bay, is the largest and busiest trading port in Japan, accounting for about 10% of the total trade value of Japan.
