Grid connection agreement signed for 700 MW offshore wind project in the Netherlands
Grid operator TenneT and wind farm developer Vattenfall have signed agreements for the offshore grid connection for the Hollandse Kust Zuid I and II wind farms.

Blauwwind Consortium reaches Financial Close on Borssele III/IV
The Blauwwind Consortium has announced financial closure on the Borssele III and IV wind farms in the Dutch North Sea. This sets in motion the construction and subsequent operation of 77 V164 9.5 MW turbines produced by MHI Vestas, with a total installed capacity of 731.5MW.

Climate Investor One fund achieves third close at US$535 million
Climate Fund Managers has announced the third close of Climate Investor One (CIO), one of the world’s largest renewable energy development and financing initiatives for developing country investments, at US$535 million. The fund manager has raised an additional circa US$75 million since the second close.

Largest PV project in the Netherlands reaches financial close
German developer ib vogt and HSH Nordbank have successfully closed a EUR41 million (US$47.88 million) debt facility for a solar photovoltaic power plant, the 54.5 MWp Solarpark Scaldia, located in the municipalities of Borsele and Vlissingen in Zeeland, the Netherlands.

TenneT issues US$1.5 billion green bonds to support European transmission projects
TenneT Holding B.V., a European electricity transmission system operator (TSO), has announced the successful launch and pricing of a green bond issue of EUR1.25 billion (US$1.47 billion). The proceeds will support a portfolio of offshore and onshore transmission projects in the Netherlands and Germany.

Financial close for 21 MW wind project in the Netherlands
Eurus Energy Group, based in Japan, and YARD ENERGY Group, a Dutch wind developer, have achieved financial close for the construction of Windpark Spui, a 21 MW wind farm located in the municipality of Korendijk in South Holland, the Netherlands.
