Distributed Power Partners gets approval for Chilean solar parks

Distributed Power Partners has received environmental approval to develop two photovoltaic (PV) plants of 9 MW each in the Atacama region, Chile.

The total investment is estimated at US$36 million, which represents a total investment of US$18 million for each plant. Located near the city of Copiapo, the two projects that have got approval are the following:

  • 9 MW Valle Solar East
  • 9 MW Valle Solar West

According to the environmental licenses, the two plant will operate as part of the existing distribution network.

Distributed Power Partners is a Canadian international distributed power development company. The firm is committed to building, owning and operating distributed solar power projects globally.
