BluEarth Renewables acquires 247 MW Wind Project in USA

BluEarth Renewables Inc. has announced its U.S. affiliate has acquired the 247 MW Buffalo Branch Wind Project in Dade County, Missouri, from NorthRenew Energy LLC, an experienced renewable and sustainable project developer.

The project will be built on private land, covering an area of about 17,000 acres. Once operational, it is expected to generate enough energy to supply about 63,000 homes per year. The Project will consist of a substation, electrical collection systems, access roads, and a transmission line to the point of interconnection.

The Buffalo Branch Wind Project complements BluEarth’s existing portfolio of advanced development utility-scale wind projects in Canada and the U.S., which totals over 1 GW.
