Anglian Water seeks partners for wind and solar projects

Anglian Water is seeking partners who will secure 100 % of the required funding and then deliver renewable energy solutions, wind and solar, for its sites.

The firm aims to award a maximum of four frameworks for wind and solar. These two sources of renewable energy will be their initial focus.

There will be two lots, with a maximum of two suppliers for each lot. Bidders may bid for both lots or just one lot. The preferred bidder will be responsible for the finance, project manage, design, procure, construct, operate and maintain the installations.

Anglian Water has already identified a number of sites where such installations may be possible. Partners will be offered the exclusive opportunity to develop detailed proposals which allow Anglian Water to enter into a long term power purchase contract with the preferred bidder.

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 26 May 2015.

Anglian Water is a water company that operates in the East of England. Anglian Water is regulated under the Water Industry Act 1991.
