Ventyr Energy is the joint venture between Parkwind (a JERA Nex subsidiary) and Ingka Investments (IKEA's investment arm), partnered with NorSea Group, launched in 2021/2022 to spearhead Norway’s transition into offshore wind. Ventyr was created with a bold mission: to establish Norway’s first commercial fixed-bottom offshore wind farm, part of the country’s larger ambition to install 30 GW by 2040. It emphasizes sustainable development that balances environmental stewardship with community and economic benefits.
