The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) is a state-owned electricity transmission company responsible for operating and managing South Africa’s national power grid. Established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Eskom, it was created as part of the country’s broader energy sector reform to separate generation, transmission, and distribution functions. The company plays a central role in transmitting electricity across the country, ensuring that power generated by Eskom and independent producers reaches consumers reliably and efficiently.
