Azerenerji OJSC

Azerenerji OJSC is the state-owned joint-stock electric power utility of Azerbaijan, responsible for electricity generation, high-voltage transmission, and system management across the country. It is the largest power producer and grid operator in Azerbaijan, supplying the majority of the nation’s electricity through a mix of thermal, hydroelectric, and other generation assets and managing the country’s main transmission networks. Azerenerji was established in its current form in 1996 by presidential decree and is headquartered in Baku. The company plays a central role in Azerbaijan’s energy sector, supporting national electrification and infrastructure development programs while undertaking modernization and capacity expansion initiatives.
