Alcazar Energy is an independent private sector developer and producer headquartered in Dubai, focused on mid-market renewable energy generation across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (META) region. It is a leading independent sustainable infrastructure fund manager specialising in utility-scale renewable energy projects in growth markets. Following the successful exit of its first vehicle, AEP-I, the firm launched AEP-II in 2021, attracting institutional investors from North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
To date, AEP has raised over USD730 million across its two funds, delivering strong returns to investors while creating long-term impact for the communities where it operates. Through its investments, AEP has mobilised approximately USD 2 billion of foreign direct investment, enabling the development of more than 3.4 GW of clean energy capacity. These projects collectively avoid 5.3 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually and generate enough electricity to power more than one million households.
