Zuma Energia has recently completed the 424 MW Parque Eolico Reynosa wind park, the largest of its kind in Latin America according to the Government of Tamaulipas.
The wind project represents an investment of almost US$600 million (€526 million) and is located in Reynosa municipality. The facility is comprised of 123 wind turbines and has an expected generation equivalent to the whole residential demand of the state.
The Reynosa wind farm is expected to boost the economy of the region, by the rehabilitation of roads, the government particularly in the 17 rural communities located in its surrounding area.
