Xcel Energy will start building the project in the next few weeks, targeting completion in June 2019. Wanzek Construction has been contracted to build the plant, using turbines supplied by Vestas Wind Systems. Equipment for the wind park is scheduled for delivery in October 2018, while turbine installation will start soon afterwards. Xcel has formally bought the asset from NextEra
